Sky Ocean Rescue DHfK Leipzig Campaign
On 17th December, Sky Germany and handball club SC DHfK Leipzig are teaming up to use the most high profile match at Arena Leipzig to raise awareness of Sky Ocean Rescue and the issues of ocean health.
Thieves Kitchen were tasked with creating a thirty second promo to play out on big and small screens at the Arena, encouraging handball fans to use multiple-use cups instead of single-use plastic bottles.
Two further VTs were commissioned to play out on social media and for use on-air during Sky Sports’ coverage of the match. TK also created Sky Ocean Rescue graphics for Arena Liepzig’s 40m LED perimeter board.
This campaign follows TK’s production of similar assets for the 100th Test played at the Oval earlier this year.
Sky Ocean Rescue is committed to raising global awareness to the damage being done to our marine environment. In the time it takes one handball match to be played, over 1,000 tonnes of plastic is dumped into the world’s oceans.
